Returns & Refunds
1. Applicability
These rules apply to professional services sold by Hub Box to business customers where Korean consumer protection law recognises cooling-off or withdrawal rights, as well as good-faith commercial credits for documented service failures.
2. Cooling-off period
Where the Electronic Commerce Act and related notices grant a seven-day cooling-off period for distance contracts, clients may withdraw within seven days of signing unless work has begun with the client’s express prior consent.
3. fourteen-day voluntary window
For advisory retainers initiated online, Hub Box voluntarily honours a fourteen-day reconsideration window for unused kick-off hours, provided no confidential client materials have been exchanged beyond a standard NDA preamble.
4. Partial performance
If deliverables were completed and accepted in writing, fees attributable to those milestones are non-refundable. Hub Box will credit or refund only the portion tied to milestones not yet performed.
5. Non-refundable items
Third-party expenses (travel booked in the client’s name, government filing fees, software licences purchased on behalf of the client) are non-refundable once incurred.
6. Process and timing
Submit refund requests to billing@hub-box.digital with engagement code and rationale. We acknowledge within five business days and decide within fifteen business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within thirty days unless banking rules require longer.
7. Cancellations and exceptions
Either party may terminate for material breach in line with the statement of work. Force majeure events suspend performance without penalty. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights under the Korean Civil Code or consumer statutes where applicable.
